June Kalamzoo River Basin Watercolor Painting
A soft, last light vision of the Kalamazoo River basin at the Douglas/Saugatuck bridge. Hints of rose in the sky reflected into the water creating shades of purple, periwinkle and rose. Islands of red twigs, stunted birches, and floating aquatic plants fill the foreground while a light mist casts the background in soft muted color. A quiet, peaceful painting to contemplate over and over. This original watercolor is floating above the soft white fabric mat. A silver fillet enhances the border of the mat. Framed in a mottled matte silver frame.
Giclee reproductions are also available. You may also enjoy Carrie's other wetland pieces.
