Ginkgo leaves, each with a unique shape, size and color drift dramatically down. Walking into the gallery one morning, Carrie found hundreds of unique leaves in the grass under the Ginkgo trees lining Ninth street in Holland, Michigan. She collected handfuls and left them piled on the counters in the shop for days just to enjoy them as she worked. The leaves inspired a collection of paintings, beginning with realistic renditions and then moving to this magnified version in deep autumn colors on a dramatic dark background.
Our mini giclee version of an original watercolor by Carrie Rodgers-O'Neal is printed using archival acrylic inks on an archival quality canvas.
The print is hand coated with uv sealer and is then mounted and framed in a rustic wood frame. You choose the frame from the color options shown. Group these little treasures by a door, over a towel bar, along a hall for even more impact. Ready to hang. Pictured in the rustic Taupe frame.
