Ginkgo leaves, each with a unique shape, size and color drift dramatically down. Walking into the gallery one morning, Carrie found hundreds of unique leaves in the grass under the Ginkgo trees lining Ninth street in Holland, Michigan. The leaves inspired a collection of paintings, beginning with realistic renditions and then moving to this magnified version in deep autumn colors on a dramatic dark background. We've created four square pieces that can be grouped from crops of this original composition. There are also many choices in size and media for this popular work.
