Returns and Refunds Policy

Dear customer, due to our imminent gallery closing date of April 30th, 2026, we are no longer able to accept returns.  Also, there is a special policy for furniture, fixtures and equipment purchases through our web site. 

Furniture, Equipment and Display purchases:  BY COMPLETING AN ONLINE  ORDER FOR FURNITURE, FIXTURES OR EQUIPMENT,  YOU  AGREE TO THE PURCHSE PRICE AND TO PICK UP YOUR ITEM(S) AT OUR LOCATION. WE WILL CALL OR EMAIL  YOU TO CONFIRM YOUR ORDER AND  TO ARRANGE  YOUR PICK UP DATE.   

YOUR CREDIT CARD WILL ONLY BE USED TO HOLD YOUR PURCHASES FOR YOU.- CASH, CHECK, VENMO OR ZELLE IS REQUIRED AT TIME OF PICKUP.  IF YOUR PRODUCT IS NOT PICKED UP AT THE ARRANGED DATE, WE WILL HAVE TO CHARGE YOUR CARD PLUS 5% TO COVER FEES AND SPECIAL PROCESSING.  NO REFUNDS FOR ORDERS NOT PICKED UP BY THE ARRANGED DATE.  NO CANCELLATIONS ACCEPTED ONCE THE ORDER IS PLACED.  ITEMS ARE AS IS, YOU CAN INSPECT ITEMS AT OUR LOCATION DURING BUSINESS HOURS.

WE WILL TRY TO HELP YOU WITH COORDINATING THE SHIPPING  OR  TRANSPORTATION OF BULKY ITEMS VIA ONE OF THE GREAT COMPANIES WE WORK WITH.  THIS WILL BE AT YOUR EXPENSE PAID DIRECTLY TO THE CARRIER.

Art shipments damaged during shipping: First, Lake Effect Gallery must be contacted within 24 hours of delivery for damage claims. Please take pictures of the box and products and provide them to us so we can process the claim with the carrier. We will work with you to obtain a replacement piece if possible and will refund the product and shipping amount if it is not.  Carriers may not approve claims if they are not filed within 24 hours.
