May ferns emerge, first curled in tight fiddle head shapes then unfurling into soft fringed fronds. Ostrich Ferns Two is a loosely painted watercolor with washes of soft sea foam blue, warm golds and very dark browns. The edges are deckled/torn and the piece will look great 'float framed' like many of Carrie's pieces in her botanical series of work. This piece pairs with Ostrich Ferns One which you can view by clicking on the link below. Giclee reproductions on watercolor paper are available.
