Autumn Maples In Petosky Giclee
Stan Myers writes about this giclee: "What was it about these two modest Maple trees that captured my attention so that I stopped on my way back home to contemplate them? It was a cold rainy day that was in stark contrast to the previous day's brilliant sunshine-appealing to my more melancholy nature. I noticed how the trees framed in the beauty of the countryside and the road that carried my eye far into the distance. However, what I was most captivated by were these two trees that stood alone on top of a hill with their brilliant autumn leaves that defiantly danced in the wind. But one by one each surrendered and fluttered away, and with them, the fond memories of the previous day."
