Dramatic, loose painting of Carrie's favorite tulips - Parrots - which are ruffled, layered and lacy. This oversize work was created for the ART IN BLOOM competition in Holland, Michigan and was selected as a finalist for the annual Tulip Time award. The original was created on 'elephant' size watercolor paper to allow plenty of space for the huge, flowing blooms. If you love plum and neutrals, this is the painting for you.
