Rainbows of color are reflected in the surf skimming over the sand and in the froth generated by the wave action. Carrie captures a summer day on Lake Michigan with aquas and sea foam blue, warm tans and browns. The original was first painted in watercolor and then the rainbow colors were added using soft water based Union pastels.
