Venus II Revisited Giclee
A painting of Venus, a rustic rowing boat found on the Conwy River in northern Wales by the artist while visiting the local castle. "I spotted these wonderful boats while catching a view from the top turret of Conwy Castle and had to follow the waterfront to get a closer look," says the artist. Working over a period of several months, Carrie built up layers of color and textures to capture the feel of the peeling paint, rough planks and overall weather look of this row boat. She also has created a watercolor depiction of this particular boat anchored with several others which is titled BS6 Row Boats.
This giclee is available in a variety of scaled sizes. It coordinates well with other pieces in the Carrie's rustic boat series. The matted 10 x 8 is matted in an archival neutral mat.
The original framed piece is still available!
