Mary Andersen

Born and raised in Traverse City and surrounded by orchards, vineyards, the lakeshore and woodlands, all greatly influenced Mary's artistic vision to capture the beauty of God's creation with pen and ink and oils. For many years, Mary worked a variety of jobs from graphic design to bakery work to horticulture/landscaping, which ultimately led her to devote full time to her studio. She has been oil painting for the past 12 years. Recently she has experienced the joy of teaching oil painting and sharing her knowledge and experience with many wonderful students. She is thankful to be part of rich community of excellent artists in West Michigan. Print Biography
